A Columbus original, Pinchflat: Bike Poster Blowout is a bike poster event that showcases Ohio artists through gallery exhibitions & community events during the month of May.

Our signature 30 / 30 / 30 represents 30 local artists,
30 unique prints, for $30 each.

This year we are featuring posters from all over the fair (and bikable) state of Ohio!

We kick off Pinchflat on May 4th with a family friendly event at Wild Goose Creative from 12pm-5pm. The fun doesn't stop there as the posters move down to Paradise Garage to showcase the show for the May Gallery Hop in the Short North from 6pm-11pm with more food and music to accompany the posters.

By curating the submission process, we are able to keep costs low, which is great for the buyer, even better for the artist, and our community partners.

Pinchflat is a community partnership between Wild Goose Creative, Paradise Garage, Yay Bikes!

ARTIST FAQ

What can my poster be about?

Artwork included in the poster show should encourage bike riding, celebrate the art and craft of bikes, or invite thought about bikes as an important way to get around. Artwork might also be designed to persuade people to get on a bike in the first place!

HOW MANY POSTERS DO I HAVE TO MAKE?

33. That's one design, 30 prints for sale + 3 for display. We want your autograph! Please sign and number your prints i.e 1/30 with (3) AP.

HOW LONG WILL MY POSTERS BE ON DISPLAY?

For the entire month of May. Any prints leftover at the end of the month will be returned to you and you are free to do what you want with them.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET TO PICK MY POSTERS AND/OR CHECK UP BY THE END OF JUNE?

We'll consider them a donation to Wild Goose Creative. Your procrastination will become a good deed and benefit the arts community.

IS THIS A COMPETITION?

Absolutely not, Pinchflat is for fun.

How do I submit my design?

Follow this link.

WHAT ARE THE SIZE LIMITATIONS?

11x17 (12.5” x 19”) minimum or 18x24 (19” x 25”) maximum (finished size)

These are standard print sizes and we chose them specifically because they are easier to frame than unconventional sizes. Please stick to the limits, we can't accommodate enormous or teeny tiny posters.

WHAT IS MY COMMISSION?

75% of the sale ($22.50 per/poster) goes back to the artist. The remaining 25% is donated to Wild Goose Creative for organizing, hosting, and managing this event.

WHAT PRINT TECHNIQUES CAN I USE TO PRINT MY POSTERS?

Silk-screen, etched, linocut, and/or letterpress posters are welcome.

CAN I INKJET, PLOT, AIRBRUSH OR FINGERPAINT MY POSTERS?

No, thank you. We have nothing against fingerpainting, just not for Pinchflat.

WHERE CAN I GET MY DESIGNS PRINTED?

Our local friends would love to print your poster. Check out: Igloo Letterpress, Leah Storrs Art, Clatterpress, and Upright Press.

Not quite local, but also good spots: Mama's Sauce and The Half and Half.
